Pulisic kicked off his third season with AC Milan on Sunday, quickly establishing himself as one of the team's top attackers when he moved to Italy in 2023

An apparent injury to Rafael Leão made it a bittersweet season debut for AC Milan as the Portugal winger and United States international Christian Pulisic both scored in a 2-0 win over Serie B side Bari in the opening round of the Italian Cup.

Starting at striker in Milan’s first competitive match of the season, Pulisic helped lead the team to a 2–0 victory over Serie B side Barri to advance through the first round of the Coppa Italia ahead of their Serie A opening match against Cremonese on Aug. 23.
