All regions of Avowed contain a unique Totem granting players a variety of passive benefits when they're activated. Within the Emerald Stair, the Totem of Defiance is up for grabs if you can find its base and the six missing pieces scattered throughout the area.

Just like the Totem of Rightful Rulership, the Totem of Defiance is also referred to by another name in Avowed, the Schemer’s Offering, which is split into six pieces found across Emerald Stair. The more pieces of the totem found, the more powerful it becomes. Here are all the buffs provided:

All seven fragments of the Totem of Rightful Rulership are hidden throughout Dawnshore and its capital, Paradis. As soon as you find one piece of the totem (or purchase the “Fragments of the Scales” key item from Sanza), you’ll receive a quest to find and complete the Scales of the Oathbinder. The quest, however, is full of cryptic riddles.

Following in Dawnshore’s footsteps, Avowed's second region of Emerald Stair has yet another god totem for you to restore. This area is far more complicated to fully explore than Dawnshore though, so finding all the Totem of Defiance fragments to restore The Schemer’s Offering can be a bit arduous.
