Texas A&M has found its replacement for Buzz Williams. The Aggies struck a five-year deal to make Samford's Bucky McMillan their next head coach on Friday night, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel and Jeff Borzello. Texas A&M and McMillan are finalizing a five-year deal.

Texas A&M is hiring Bucky McMillan from Samford as the school’s next basketball coach, ESPN reported. Since getting his first Division I head coaching job in 2020, McMillan has led Samford to four straight 20-win seasons and its first NCAA Tournament berth in 24 years.
