The Cowboys have not had a true top-flight wide receiver to pair with CeeDee Lamb since they traded Amari Cooper.

Pickens, who was traded to the Cowboys on Wednesday in exchange for a package including a 2026 third-round pick, spoke to the Dallas media about his new teammates on a Thursday conference call. Pickens told reporters that Prescott was one of the first people who reached out to him following the trade, per ESPN's Todd Archer.
