Neighbors in Everman say they feel a sense of relief and hope for justice after Cindy Rodriguez Singh, accused of killing her 6-year-old son Noel Rodriguez Alvarez, was arrested in India and returned to Tarrant County.

Residents along Wisteria Drive in Everman say they're relieved and hopeful after learning their former neighbor, Cindy Rodriguez Singh, is back in Texas and behind bars. The North Texas mother, indicted in 2023 in the death of her young son, was arrested by the FBI in India and booked into the Tarrant County Jail on Thursday afternoon.

Cindy Rodriguez Singh, who is accused in her North Texas son’s death, is now in the Tarrant County jail after a global search. The FBI announced earlier this week that they worked with officials in India to find and arrest her.

The FBI on Wednesday announced the arrest of Rodriguez-Singh, who is under capital murder indictment in the killing of 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, which law enforcement authorities allege occurred in Tarrant County in 2022. The mother was on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted list.
