Marcel Reed and the No. 7 seed Texas A&M Aggies host the No. 10 Miami Hurricanes in the first round of the College Football Playoff. They're looking to bounce back after closing out the regular season with a 27-17 loss to the Texas Longhorns.
Eight other Texas FBS teams will take their talents across the country to play in various bowl games. North Texas, which was on the verge of making the playoffs, lost its conference title game against Tulane and will now play in a bowl game instead. In addition, Rice will now qualify for a bowl game with two teams declining bowl invitations.
The Arizona Cardinals will be on te road on Sunday taking on the Houston Texans. The game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET from NRG Stadium. The Cardinals are not expected to win. They are 9.5-point underdogs.
