Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser is suing a sheriff's deputy who Weiser says told ICE officials in an encrypted Signal chat to a woman who was allegedly in the U.S. on an expired visa, in violation of state law.

Deputy Alexander Zwinck of the Mesa County Sheriff's Office is accused of sharing a student's information with federal agents.
