WOKING, England — Oscar Piastri has signed a “multi-year” contract extension with McLaren, the F1 team said Tuesday. The announcement came five days before the first race of the new season at Piastri’s home Australian Grand Prix.

Oscar Piastri has signed a new multi-year contract extension to keep him at McLaren for the foreseeable. We don’t know exactly how long the deal runs for, but McLaren says “the Australian driver will continue in papaya for the long term.”
