5 Striker Targets for Arsenal

Arsenal are waiting to see if Kai Havertz is going to be on the sidelines for a period of time after the forward picked up a knee injury. The 26-year-old was not part of the open training session held at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday and the injury is being assessed by the medical department.
Viktor Gyökeres, Arsenal’s headline summer signing, now carries the burden as the club’s only recognised fit striker. Havertz’s absence leaves Arteta short of depth, with Leandro Trossard offering a versatile alternative and Gabriel Jesus still sidelined with the anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered in January.
Former Watford striker Troy Deeney has conveyed his doubts over Arsenal's summer signing, Viktor Gyokeres, claiming he could lose his place in the starting XI to Kai Havertz.
