Denver mayor Mike Johnston attended the 2024 draft to meet with the NFL's draft committee and Detroit mayor Mike Duggan as he continues to push to bring a future draft to Colorado. Denver was not picked to host in 2025 (Green Bay) or 2026 (Pittsburgh), but the city is a candidate to host the 2027 draft.

Of their original set, the only pick Denver actually used was No. 20 on Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron. The Broncos actually considered trading back from there, too, Paton said Thursday night, to take a running back (Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson, sources said) later in the first round.

And just like that, the 2025 NFL draft has concluded. The Denver Broncos went into the draft with seven picks and after moving up and down the board with four trades, Denver exited the draft with seven new players.
