Sandra Oh criticized CBS and Paramount during her appearance on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' on July 21 after its cancellation was announced. The network said it was "a financial decision," but the news came days after Colbert criticized Paramount for its $16 million settlement with President Donald Trump.

Jon Stewart lambasted CBS’ decision to cancel “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," ripping their shared parent company for what he called a capitulation to Trump.

Several comedians and talk-show hosts appeared in a sketch that also featured an animated Trump hugging the Paramount logo.

Kicking off Monday’s show with a joke about Trump wanting to change the name of the Washington Commanders NFL team (the “Washington Epsteins,” Colbert suggested), he walked into the Ed Sullivan Theater to loud cheers and said “This is going to be fun.” It certainly was.

In a scathing opening segment for The Daily Show, Stewart called out the "corporate fear" of his parent company.
