President Donald Trump held a meeting with PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan and LIV chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan alongside Tiger Woods and Adam Scott to discuss the framework of a merger that reportedly could bring LIV players back to the PGA as early as March.

The PGA Tour released a statement Thursday that has added another incremental update to the Tour's ongoing negotiations with the PIF, which runs LIV Golf. No, there's no announcement of a resolution.

Commissioner Jay Monahan, Tiger Woods and Adam Scott met at the White House along with Saudi PIF governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan but no details were released.
