Former Alabama basketball guard Rylan Griffen entered the NCAA transfer portal on Monday, per On3's Pete Nakos. Griffen spent last season at Kansas. Griffen was a member of Alabama's Final Four team during the 2023-24 season,

Griffen is the fifth KU men’s basketball player to enter the portal and the third to do so in the last two days. He joins guards Rakease Passmore, David Coit and big men Flory Bidunga and Zach Clemence as players leaving coach Bill Self’s program.

Rylan Griffen, a 6’6” guard out of Dallas, Texas, came into Alabama as a top-50 recruit and played a major role on their 2024 Final Four team before transferring to Kansas for his junior season. He is now in the transfer portal again.
