NASA and SpaceX on Monday will launch its SPHEREx and PUNCH spacecraft missions tasked to create a three-dimensional map of hundreds of millions of galaxies in order to better understand our known universe.

The postponement, driven primarily by thick clouds, was the second scrub of the flight since an issue with the rocket on Saturday night.

After more than a week of delays, two new NASA missions have gotten the greenlight to head to space tonight (March 8).

The missions' first several delays were to allow for additional time for checkouts and processing on the Falcon 9 rocket they'll ride to space, according to NASA. Now, the delay is to "allow SpaceX to complete rocket preparations ahead of liftoff," NASA said in an update.
