Oakdale Fire initially started 6:02 p.m. July 1 in Yolo County, California. Since its discovery 38 hours ago, it has burned 78.3 acres. As of Thursday morning, the fire crew managed to contain 60% of the fire. Investigations into its cause are still ongoing.

Seven people remain unaccounted for days after multiple explosions obliterated a fireworks facility Tuesday in the Esparto area of Yolo County, Cal Fire said. The explosions and fire that followed caused nearby evacuations and power outages.
