The pursuit of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo figures to be the biggest storyline of the upcoming NBA offseason, but the Golden State Warriors reportedly may not be one of the primary players despite a second-round playoff exit.

The obvious needle-mover is Kevin Durant, who the Warriors nearly landed at the deadline. Milwaukee Bucks superstar, multi-time MVP and NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo might just be available, too. Sam Amick of The Athletic recently noted that Antetokounmpo and Curry could have some ties, too.

If Antetokounmpo does request a trade and the Bucks make him available, there will be several teams looking to acquire the star. One of those teams could be the Golden State Warriors, and they may have a good chance due to Stephen Curry’s relationship with Antetokounmpo, according to The Athletic.
