LOS ANGELES - A high-speed police chase is underway in Los Angeles. SkyFOX was over the scene on Thanksgiving Day as the suspect led authorities on the high speed chase. Officials did not say if the suspect was wanted for crimes outside of speeding.

Steven Zapata was charged Monday with two counts of murder in the fatal car wreck that claimed the life of Alhambra police officer Alec Sanders.

A chase suspect led California Highway Patrol officers from Los Angeles to the U.S.-Mexico border Monday afternoon and then crossed into Mexico, officials said.

Authorities are chasing a vehicle in the Los Angeles area near Santa Fe Springs Saturday evening.
