A Newnan High School history teacher is no longer with the school district after officials say he used a racial slur while speaking with a student in class.

A husband and wife in Boston who allegedly hurled racial slurs and death threats, attacking a group of people dining at a restaurant, including a child, were facing civil rights violations, according to a NBC10 Boston report on Wednesday.

The supervisor said a township resident called him the n-word at least three times during a non-profit event. The resident denies using any racial slurs.

A 13-year-old juvenile was arrested May 28 in connection with a vandalism investigation in the Central area, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said.
