Uganda confirms three new Ebola cases, bringing total to five

India, May 24 -- India is on alert and monitoring airports and seaports in Kerala.
Uganda said that flights to and from the Democratic Republic of Congo would be temporarily suspended, as the outbreak appeared to spread to a rebel-controlled province in Congo.
Uganda confirmed three new Ebola cases, including a health worker and a driver linked to the country’s first known infection, as authorities race to contain the outbreak.
The World Health Organization has declared the Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda a public health emergency of international concern, after officials identified more than 250 suspected cases and 80 suspected deaths linked to the disease.
As risks mount, UNICEF is mobilizing emergency supplies and rapid response personnel to contain the spread and protect children and families.
