BOSTON — The Celtics made playoff history in Game 1 on Monday night while blowing a 20-point third quarter lead to the underdog Knicks. The hosts shot just 25 percent from the field from 3-point range in the 108-105 overtime defeat, going just 15-of-60 from beyond the arc.

The Celtics blew a golden opportunity to go up 1-0 in the series vs the Knicks. Instead, they are down 0-1 and have lost home-court advantage.

Jayson Tatum shot 4-of-16 from deep, Derrick White shot 5-of-16, Jaylen Brown shot 1-of-10 and Jrue Holiday made two of his seven attempts. Payton Pritchard and Al Horford both had five attempts off the bench.
