The PGA Tour's sixth signature event of the season begins Thursday at Philadelphia Cricket Club with the Truist Championship. Defending champion Rory McIlroy leads the field of 72 and will compete alongside Justin Thomas and Tommy Fleetwood at 12:26 p.

The 2025 PGA Championship will take place at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, beginning on May 15. Along with top PGA Tour players, several top stars from LIV Golf will play in the PGA Championship as well, including Koepka, Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Dustin Johnson.

Shane Lowry remains one of the best overall approach players on the PGA Tour, and he carries a tremendous track record on championship-style venues. With seven top-20 finishes in 10 starts in 2025, the Irishman has been one of the most consistent players on tour this year, and I’m expecting another strong performance at Philadelphia Cricket Club.
