As far back as mid-March, New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Jeff Cobb was reportedly penciled in for a spot with WWE. The plan remains the same despite him seemingly saying on social media he's retiring after wrestling his last NJPW match:

Pro wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp reported Strowman, Baszler, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Dakota Kai, Gigi Dolin, Oro Mensah, Javier Bernal, and Gallus' (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) releases. NXT superstars Cora Jade and Jakara Jackson were also released, according to PW Insider.

Among the most notable names let go from the main roster were mainstays Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler and Dakota Kai. Additionally, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Cora Jade and all of Gallus, which includes Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang. Strowman is far and away the biggest name being let go from the company.
