The UConn women’s basketball team’s struggles in big games are becoming a concerning pattern after an 80-76 upset by rival Tennessee.

UConn women's basketball's post play has been an issue all year, but it fell into a slump against rival Tennessee in the Huskies' loss Thursday in Knoxville.

Since the turn of the year, Tennessee had lost five games by a combined 15 points. Four of those losses came against top-10 teams as the Lady Vols sought their first marquee victory in the Kim Caldwell era.
