Handing a reporter $300 in cash hidden inside a crumpled bag of sour cream and onion potato chips may seem “very unusual” — “but not if you know Winnie” Greco, a lawyer for the disgraced City Hall advisor told The Post Thursday.

A former top City Hall advisor and current campaign confidante to Mayor Eric Adams attempted to give money to a reporter from THE CITY following a campaign event in Harlem Wednesday.

Winnie Greco was outed by news outlet The City for trying to give cash surreptitiously tucked inside a Herr's Sour Cream & Onion ripple potato chip bag to one of its reporters.
