The author of “Flamer,” a graphic novel which has been banned from libraries in Marietta City Schools and the Cobb County School District, has written an open letter to Marietta High School students.
“Flamer,” along with “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” by Jesse Andrews, were removed from the library last month following a complaint from a parent and concerns from Marietta school board members.
