Corellium has managed the difficult trick of getting Linux running natively on Apple's new M1-powered Mac Mini in record time.

The M1 is set to receive Linux support shortly. The kernel should be updated for Mac M1 models. An upcoming feature will be included in Mac M1 models, which is expected to become available shortly.

Asahi Linux is a project and community with the goal of porting Linux to Apple Silicon Macs, starting with the 2020 M1 Mac Mini, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro.

News Linux will soon get official support for M1 Macs Linux kernel 5.13, expected to launch in June, should run on Apple Macs equipped with the M1 processor.
