President Donald Trump admitted that Americans might feel the "pain" from his newly imposed tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Sunday morning.

A day after levying steep new tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China, President Trump acknowledged what economists, members of Congress and even some of his own aides — in their previous lives — have been saying all along: Americans may find themselves paying the costs.

President Donald Trump signed an order to put tariffs on U.S. neighbors Canada and Mexico, as well as China, starting Tuesday.
