East Beltline bridge in Grand Rapids to close for total replacement
The East Beltline Avenue bridge that goes over the I-196/I-96 freeway system is going to be fully replaced in 2027, a project that will fully close the bridge for one construction season, said Michigan Department of Transportation spokesperson John Richard. A date has not been set for when construction will start.
