President Biden delivered his farewell address to the nation on Wednesday night, hailing a cease-fire deal in the Israel-Gaza conflict.

At the tail end of President Joe Biden’s time as president, his administration is celebrating the successful ceasefire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas, which will hopefully bring a measure of peace to the region.

In his final days, Biden brokered a ceasefire, supported Ukraine, imposed Russia sanctions, extended deportation relief, commuted drug sentences, advanced environmental protections, and worked to close Guantanamo Bay.
