In nearly any other scenario, acquiring DK Metcalf would be a huge acquisition for a losing team after another disastrous season. Not the Las Vegas Raiders, though. The Raiders answered their questions at the quarterback position by trading for Geno Smith from the Seattle Seahawks Friday,

Two days after dealing quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders, the Seattle Seahawks agreed to send wide receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini,

DK Metcalf has been traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Metcalf had requested a trade Wednesday after the Seahawks moved quarterback Geno Smith to the Raiders. Seattle received a second-round pick and the teams swapped picks in the seventh round.

It's confounding to assess the Seahawks because they have plenty of talent and three straight winning seasons. But there was only one playoff appearance in those three seasons and no postseason wins.
