'China running a racket': EU attacks Beijing's rare earth curbs; bloc looking for alternatives
The EU has strongly criticized China's control over rare earth exports, with a top official labeling Beijing's restrictions a "racket" that jeopardizes Europe's strategic autonomy. The bloc is urged to accelerate efforts to reduce its dependence on Chinese critical minerals by diversifying supply chains and strengthening domestic capacity.
China allows visa-free transit for Indian nationals for up to 24 hours. By comparison, U.S. citizens are given 10 days.
