Senate Republican Leader Aric Nesbitt is calling for a federal investigation into the matter, sending a letter to U.S.

"Call your senator and ask them to get the job done on a road funding fix today," said one ad from a group allied with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

Lane closures are scheduled for 7 a.m. July 15 through 7 p.m. July 21 on M-45 (Lake Michigan Drive) between 24th Avenue and M-11 (Wilson Avenue) in Standale, west of Grand Rapids, for construction.
