ESPN and the NFL have found a means of combining the league’s media content with the outlet’s soon-to-launch streamer before the sides receive regulatory approval from the federal government for their recently struck mega-deal.

The bundle will launch on September 3, timed to coincide with the start of the National Football League’s (NFL) regular season. The announcement comes about one week after ESPN confirmed it was acquiring NFL Media, which includes the NFL Plus streaming platform, NFL Network and NFL RedZone.

Fans like touchdowns and big plays, and ESPN decided to rank teams based purely on watchability, factoring in the high-octane offense, close games, notable players, and other interesting reasons to watch. Sadly, there apparently aren't many for Seattle.

According to a report from Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports, former Missouri Tigers and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Chase Daniel is joining ESPN as a college football analyst.
