President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, is considering running for Senate in North Carolina following Sen. Thom Tillis’ (R-North Carolina) announcement that he won’t run for re-election.

"Somebody who would really be great is Lara, she grew up there," Trump said of his daughter-in-law in discussing the North Carolina Senate seat.
