Canada trade talks are resuming Canada rescinded its plan to tax U.S. technology firms, a plan President Trump blasted.

The government said on Sunday night that it would cancel its tax on American technology companies, handing a victory to the Trump administration.

Canada withdrew its digital services tax on technology companies such as Meta Platforms Inc. and Alphabet Inc. in a move to restart trade talks with the US.
