One player who has been a constant for them all season was Tyrese Maxey. The star guard showed up to play every nigh in order to lead this group, and he deserves a ton of credit for doing so, but a back injury suffered in a March 3 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers has caused him to miss the previous four games.

Tyrese Maxey is out for the Sixers' road contest against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, according to the team's initial injury report issued on Monday afternoon.

The Philadelphia 76ers were able to knock off the Utah Jazz on Sunday night 126-122 to end a 3-game skid. The Sixers were able to keep pace with the Chicago Bulls for the final play-in spot int he East as they remain 3.

Maxey took a hard fall after a layup attempt in the third quarter and never returned. Paul George and Kelly Oubre Jr. also missed Monday's game.

"He came out for walk-through with no tape on [his finger]," coach Nick Nurse said. "I said, 'Where’s the tape?' And he said, 'Forget that tape, man.' I said, 'Feeling better?' He said, 'Nope.'"

The Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers are missing several notable players, including top-scoring point guards Trae Young and Tyrese Maxey.

The Sixers are dealing with more injuries as they try to fight through these final 20 games of the season and get into the play-in tournament. As for Tyrese Maxey, Nurse said he is questionable for the next two and he completed an individual workout on Saturday.
