A winter weather advisory is in effect for the following Kentucky and Indiana counties from 7 p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday: Oldham, Trimble, Henry, Harrison, Nicholas. Clark, Orange, Washington, Scott, Jefferson, Dubois, Crawford, Harrison, Floyd.

The snow is expected to stop and transition to rain on Tuesday afternoon.
