Monterey County supervisors on Tuesday declared a state of emergency in response to last week's major fire at the Vistra lithium battery plant in Moss Landing.

Monday morning commuters are likely to wake up to fog and frost in the Northern California and Bay Area regions. Meteorologist Kelly Curran said much of the fog will be in the Bay Area, Delta and San Joaquin Valley.
