London's police force said on Saturday that officers had arrested 41 people who had expressed support for the banned group Palestine Action at a protest outside parliament.British lawmakers proscribed the group under anti-terrorism legislation earlier this month after some of its members broke into a Royal Air Force base and damaged planes in protest against Britain's support for Israel.

More than 70 people were arrested at protests in England and Wales today against Palestine Action being designated a proscribed terror group. Protesters have gathered for the second week in a row to support the group – after police said showing support for Palestine Action would be a criminal offence.
