Prada Group said it named Silvia Onofri as chief executive of its Miu Miu brand, at a time when the label is showing resilience in a challenging environment for luxury names marked by waning demand for high-end goods.

Onofri, previously president of Napapijri, is expected to succeed Benedetta Petruzzo, who joined Christian Dior Couture as managing director in October.
