One recent leak points to Apple holding the iPhone 17 event on Sept. 9. German site iPhone-Ticker claims that it gained access to internal documents from a local carrier, and even though the sourcing cannot be confirmed, that release date lines up with existing rumors and expert opinion.

Tech media outlets seem to agree on Sept. 9 for the 2025 reveal date. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models are available in five bold colors: black, white, pink, teal and ultramarine. The iPhone 17 series could be coming in early September.

The iPhone 17 is reportedly rumored to be announced in September, meaning Californians may be just weeks away from their next upgrade.
