One year ago, the Los Angeles Chargers got aggressive in the NFL draft and traded up for a player in Ladd McConkey who blossomed into a star right away. In hindsight, the trade with the New England Patriots looks like a massive ripoff when considering all the moving parts.

NFL Media’s Chad Reuter released his latest three-round mock draft. In it, he sees the Chargers addressing the defensive side of the ball in the first two rounds and the interior part of the offensive line in Round 3. With their first-round selection, Los Angeles selects former Georgia safety Malaki Starks.
