Tesla ( TSLA 0.04%) is one of the world's leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers, but many analysts believe the company's true value lies in its futuristic product platforms like the autonomous robotaxi and Optimus humanoid robot. In fact, CEO Elon Musk believes those products will make Tesla the largest company in the world one day.

The company has devoted resources to autonomous driving rather than developing new models to attract car buyers.

Tesla is headed for another year of shrinking sales after it posted a second straight drop in quarterly deliveries, dragged down by CEO Elon Musk's right-wing political stances and an aging vehicle line-up that has turned off some buyers.
