The new name for Utah’s NHL team, which completed its inaugural season after emerging from the ashes of the Arizona Coyotes, was picked by fans through multiple rounds of voting.

In addition to the Mammoth nickname, Utah also rolled out its new logos and jerseys. The Mammoth logo features the side profile of the mammoth with the Wasatch mountains and outline of Utah making up the top of the head. That logo will be used on the team's home jerseys, which features a primarily black look.

Smith Entertainment Group announced this week that “Utah Mammoth” is the official name of the team it acquired in April 2024. The group was called “Utah Hockey Club” for its inaugural season; that name will now be retired with the launch of the permanent branding.
