Rep. Ilhan Omar blasted her own state party on Thursday night for revoking the endorsement of Minneapolis mayoral hopeful Omar Fateh.

A day after an endorsement by the Minneapolis branch of the DFL for Omar Fateh was revoked at the party's state level, those frustrated by the decision will gather at City Hall to voice their concerns.

Fateh, a democratic socialist, won the Minneapolis DFL endorsement in July over Mayor Jacob Frey. Though his victory raised his profile in the race, it also drew dozens of challenges from his opponents over allegations of delays and miscounted votes.
