Pat Kelsey already knew of Peyton Siva. He knew the former University of Louisville point guard was a standout player on the 2013 national championship team for the Cardinals.

Siva's experience on and off the court led his hiring to Pat Kelsey's first staff at Louisville. "Peyton is a living legend here at Louisville," Kelsey said.

More recently, Siva opened the basketball training facility "Shoot 360" last Septemer. He also played on the first iteration of the Louisville alumni TBT team "The Ville" last summer.

Siva's father, Peyton Sr., led a troubled life when his son was younger. Struggling with a toxic mix of drugs, alcohol and depression, the elder Siva was an on-and-off presence.
