As far back as mid-March, New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Jeff Cobb was reportedly penciled in for a spot with WWE. The plan remains the same despite him seemingly saying on social media he's retiring after wrestling his last NJPW match:

Pro wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp reported Strowman, Baszler, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Dakota Kai, Gigi Dolin, Oro Mensah, Javier Bernal, and Gallus' (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) releases. NXT superstars Cora Jade and Jakara Jackson were also released, according to PW Insider.

Baszler has been under the WWE banner since 2017 and is the longest-combined reigning NXT Women's Champion. Her UFC background made her a believable grappler, but her endless reincarnations and shortcomings on the mic prevented prolonged main roster pushes.
