The network has given a straight-to-series order for a new spinoff starring Tom Ellis. The series was originally known as FBI: CIA, but now has a tentative title of just CIA.

Tom Ellis is attached for one of the two lead roles in the drama, which is currently titled simply “CIA.” It is set to air during the 2025-2026 broadcast season.

And since the CIA doesn’t employ foreign nationals as agents, Ellis will be using an American accent. “They don’t allow Brits in the CIA, apparently,” he joked.
