One of the six children fled the home to allege the abuse. Kenneth, Tina and Katlynn Key were charged Wednesday with torture.

Six children were allegedly tortured by their foster parents and another adult at a Victorville home, with some of the abuse going back at least a decade, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The alleged abuse includes daily beatings, strangulation to the point of unconsciousness and withholding of food and water for days, prosecutors said.
