FCC Search by Frequency? - RadioReference.com Forums
Jan 31, 2024 · For the life of me, I can't find where I can search the FCC database by frequency. Probably because I'm not that familiar with lingo. I did try searching before asking but there's so much info to sift through. It's more than likely right in front of my face. would appreciate a point in the right direction please.

Aug 30, 2023 · There was a huge worldwide freeband type CB convention held in my town and the FCC sent two engineers to bust as many of them as possible. The engineers that visited me confirmed it. I along with a good friend and my boss, the owner of a CB/car stereo shop were casualties of that but I didn't hear of any out of towners getting busted.

The FCC Chairwoman had a pretty good comment on this, for those that are still confused: But their efforts were thwarted by an amateur radio operator who was unlawfully transmitting on frequencies dedicated to public safety.

Aug 31, 2021 · The ham radio stalking case I am familiar with mirrors that situation. FCC employee (also a ham) got into a disagreement with the fellow ham, the local law enforcement agency was contacted, warrants issued, court case resulted in a felony conviction for stalking. Same ham renewed their license in 2017 without any "red flag" from the FCC.

One's license is a privilege not a right, and the FCC isn't an agency that operates by criminal evidentiary rules- they find fact with those who violate their rules, and issue NOVs and NALs accordingly, and modify/suspend/revoke accordingly. Sue them if you don't like it.
